Lansing Latino Health Alliance

To improve the health status of Latinos in the Greater Lansing area.

Description:
To become the premier advocacy organizaion known for improving the health status of Greater Lansing Latinos by assessing health status data on Latinos and activating action plans consistent with findings and implementing with Lansing health leadership and policy makers.

History:
The Lansing Latino Health Alliance (LLHA) was formed in 2003 through a grant from the Ingham County Health Dept. and the Kellogg Community Voices Project. The Alliance was established to reduce health disparities and improve health status among Latinos in the Greater Lansing area by engaging local communitities in activities that increase awareness and self-empowerment.
