At Care Free Medical we seek to provide FREE quality health care to the uninsured and under-served in our community.

Description:
Care Free Medical is a FREE clinic. We operate like a family practice doctors office and strive to provide a health care home to all of our patients. We have two locations, one in Mason and on in Lansing. We also provide after hours care at the Lansing office Monday through Wednesday. In addition to primary care, we provide appointments with specialty providers, mental health and case management services, a pharmacy assistance program, substance abuse services and enrollment into Ingham Health Plan.

History:
Care Free Medical was founded in July 2004 by Dr. Barry Saltman and his wife Suzanne. After practicing in the Mason are for over 27 years, they determined to see those that did not have access to health care. The clinic in Mason quickly blossomed into a full time effort. In September 2005 an office suite on South Pennsylvania was GIFTED to Care Free by Dr. Pablo Quiroga and his wife Lenore. The Lansing office recently relocated to a larger location just down the road to accommodate our expanding services.
