Adults who enjoy meeting new people, working with children, and knowing that they make a difference in the life of a child will love this new opportunity. Adult mentors are being recruited for to be mentors in a variety of different Clinton County 4-H Youth Development Programs. (You don't have to be in 4-H or even know what it is to inquire and get involved!) Adults will be asked to make at least a one-year commitment to the program and to the child they are matched with. Mentors will be provided with an orientation to the program and will be matched with one or two children. We'll help to make the initial introductions and weekly activities as well as some group outings. There will be an initial training and then there will be other in-services to provide more information to help you with your match. In addition, you will have to complete our volunteer selection process. This opportunity is sponsored by: Clinton County M.S.U. Extension
