This is a new effort for the Clinton County Creating Connections program serving youth in 8th - 12th grades who are in foster care. We're looking for 17 adults who want to develop a relationship with one teen and help them to recognize their special interests and abilities to create a positive future vision for their life. Mentors will be matched with a young person based on personal interests and will be asked to interact with the teen at least once a week. Once-a-month recreationl gathering are planned for the entire group. Adult mentors must be at least 21, able to commit for at least one full year, and agree to a State Police criminal background check and two reference checks. State Street is also M-21 in the city of St. Johns. Take US-27 to M-21 and turn west. The Clinton County Court House is located on the south end of Main Street. The Extension Office is located in the Court House on the "G"arden Level in suite G100. The parking lot is on the south side of the building.
