Volunteer Opportunity Details:

This is one of the most important volunteer positions at ANC. We are seeking a friendly person who enjoys a fast pace and diverse environment. The receptionist is the first face people see when they come through the door and it is important for the receptionist to set a friendly helpful tone. Phone skills and good communications skills would be very beneficial to this position. Continual and free trainings are given each month in order to maintain receptionist knowledge on community resources. Receptionists provide information and referral to people who are seeking help or information. We request that the receptionist be willing to commit at least 3 months to a four hour shift. Shifts are from 9am-1pm or 1pm-5pm. ANC is looking for people to fill a morning Monday, Wednesday and Friday shift (9am-1pm) and there is one afternoon shift available (1pm-5pm) on Friday.

Phone skills and good communications skills would be very beneficial to this position but not required.
