Ex offenders often have difficulty securing and maintaining employment. Without a legitimate source of income, chances are good that the ex offender will return to criminal behavior, creating new crime victims and ultimately, returning to incarceration. This is an opportunity to prevent crime at the grass roots level. By assisting New Way In with their group orientations/trainings, locating employment opportunities, paperwork, volunteers can help make a dramatic impact towards making our neighborhoods safer. Volunteers working directly with clients will be trained. This opportunity is sponsored by: New Way In, Inc.
