Capital Area United Way's Day of Caring will take place over two consecutive days: Friday, September 26, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and Saturday, September 27, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Day of Caring is a special event which our community gets the opportunity to experience first-hand the voluntary strength of our community. It is a day when volunteers, both as individuals and as company representatives, come together to complete projects that benefit people and nonprofit organizations in our community.
This year there are 22 projects to choose from. We invite workers, retirees, and folks from all walks of life to participate. Projects range from yard work to clerical, priming to painting, and inventorying to organizing. The project sites include:
