Fun with Books

This year's Day of Caring event is focusing on Literacy.  We will be holding a book drive the week of September 11, 2006.  Book drives could be held in schools, offices, churches, etc. and should focus on books appropriate for school age children. Books will be collected and sorted on Friday, September 15th and distributed to area children on Saturday, September 16th at this year's "Curious About Books" events.  Volunteers are needed to:

*Coordinate book drives the week leading up to this year's Day of Caring "Curious About Books" events.
*Sort books on Friday, September 15 from 12 p.m.-4 p.m.

*Set up, help with activities and tear down for the Curious About Books? events that are happening on Saturday, September 16.  Volunteers are needed from 10 a.m.-3:00 p.m. 

All volunteers receive lunch and a t-shirt.
