THE JUMP OFF Teen Friendly Internship Family Friendly Service Learning Group opportunity

Agency Details:

THE JUMP OFF

Crystal Newkirk, Community Builder Member, is the founder of the Jump Off Event. The purpose of the Jump Off is to break the stereotypes about Hip Hop and provide a positive environment for teens, youth, adolescents and anybody who likes Urban musical genres.

Description:
The Jump Off (presented by CCHHP) provides a positive outreach alternative to youth and adolescences that enjoy Hip Hop, R&B, Reggae and Reggatone. Our goal is to reduce negative behaviors that can lead to future criminal behavior, unwanted health issues, and poor job retention. The Jump Off offers clean cut, life changing entertainment and fun, using Christian music. Christian Hip-hop music will play throughout the hours of operation. Christian Hip-hop, R&B, Reggae, Reggae-tone, and other Christian artist are invited to perform and share personal, life changing experiences, while addressing the truth about trying to act out the negative lyrics that are depicted daily through the media.

History:
Crystal Clear Hip Hop Productionz was awarded a Community Builders Fellowship Award in 2008 and has been unstoppable ever since!

The Jump Off held it’s first event at the Three Pyramids Building, on 66 Day Street in Fitchburg, with a great turnout. The event consisted of over 80 people that attended. There were several artists that performed, along with professional break dancers.
