Holiday Gifts Drive: Serve on our Holiday Gift Committee,donate gifts, wrap, and sort gifts for over 700 children and adults

Volunteer Opportunity Details: Last updated on October 20, 2009 Our holiday gift goal this year is one gift for each of the 710 individuals that we serve. One gift is not a lot, in fact most of us receive many more. One gift for each child, teen, or adult, that is our goal. We would appreciate your help with our gift drive. Sherry moved into her new supported housing apartment in December 2008. At the holiday, she was surprised to receive a present - a "bed in a bag"or sheets for her bed. She was told of the many wonderful donors that provided gifts to the individuals with intellectual disabilities or severe mental illness served by The Bridge. Gifts that bring a smile and a sense of family during the holidays. The homes we provide in the community help foster a sense of family and that the individuals we serve may not have been able to form elsewhere. We celebrate the holidays together at The Bridge. We hope you can help us make it a special one. You can help by organizing a gift drive at your school or business. Or you can adopt one of our children, teens, or adults we serve and purchase them a gift. Gift suggestions include: sweatshirts, hats and mittens, bedding, towels, gift cards, or board games. You can also help wrap and sort gifts.
