Warmer Winter's Extraordinary Volunteer

Warmer Winters nominates Debbie Consalvo for the Spotlight on Extraordinary Volunteers.  Indeed, Debbie is extraordinary.  She has been with Warmer Winters for about a year and is someone I can always count on.

Like our other volunteers, Debbie knits beautiful hats, but she does much more.  She runs her own knitting group within Warmer Winters, even keeping track of what each volunteer makes which makes my record keeping much easier.

What really makes her extraordinary is the initiative and creativity she has shown in organizing and managing Warmer Winters booth for the Johnny Appleseed Festival.  Debbie scheduled all the staffers for the booth, made a lollipop tree for the children and provided our tent and chairs.  She helped with setting up the booth at 7AM and was there at the end of the day when it was time to close down.

"I just wish I could clone Debbie!" "Said Judy Gentry, Founder and Executive Director of Warmer Winters".  Warmer Winters is very lucky to have Debbie Consalvo as a volunteer.
