Leaders and co-leaders are registered Girl Scout adults and trained volunteers who regularly meet with girls to help them achieve the purpose of Girl Scouting. Leaders may also be referred to as advisors, particularly when working with girls ages 11-17. For more information contact the Prairie Hills Service Center at 564-8822.

All adults participating as volunteers in Girl Scouts shall be registered as members with Girl Scouts of the United States of America. Training as defined within the position description, is mandatory and is to be completed prior to appointment to a position. Training is available in the following formats: online, self-study, and in-person training.
