The Red Cross Nurse Corp do Blood Pressure Clinics, providing our community with a free and convenient way to monitor blood pressure and offer advice to improve their blood pressure. Our Nurse Corp. also does presentations on other Health issues.
VOLUNTEERS MUST BE A REGISTERED NURSE OR LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE.
Duties include:
Willingness to support Red Cross Mission
*Keep statistics for Red Cross on people who have blood pressure done or whom presentations were given to
*Keep records of hours and report to chair
*Blood Pressures for community and health fairs
*Encourage people with high or low blood pressure to seek medical attention
*May be requested to give presentations on health and safety issues
