Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on November 11, 2009 |
Connect Columbus has released a community needs assessment report in early 2009 that details strengths and community needs within the education, economic opportunity and health/community safety arenas. Connect Columbus is sponsoring Task Forces to address parenting skills, financial stability for families and is also involved in a steering committee to address youth gang issues. The groups generally meet once per month and will work to complete their objectives by early 2011. Task Force/Committee membership is an opportunity to be a leader and have a vital impact on our community. Contact Tammy at 562-6539
Task Force members are asked to share ideas at meetings and commit to helping complete activities to meet the group's goals. This opportunity is sponsored by: Connect Columbus
