Jackson Hole Community Radio, Inc.

Jackson Hole Community Radio (JHCR) will own and operate the radio station in accordance with three underlying missions:

1. ) The station will provide news and information that is focused on the northwest region of Wyoming.
2. ) The station will contribute to the expression of culture in the community through locally produced programming.
3. ) The station will maintain the tradition of public radio by education and informing listeners and providing a diversity of music and views that challenge people to explore new ideas.

Description:
Jackson Hole Community Radio is a new volunteer driven noncommercial radio station. We are located just off the town square in downtown Jackson. In April of 2008 JHCR flipped the switch and went "On Air". The station has been broadcasting diverse music, community news and public service announcements since then. Community radio has always been a grassroots industry relying on individuals and their communities to function day to day and to develop over time. Currently there are over 100 volunteers that donate their time to JHCR in a weekly or monthly capacity.
