Volunteer Opportunity Details:

The Kids Club is a program offered through the Van Vleck House for children it the elementary. It offers six week clubs for activities such as rockclimbing, cooking, baking, acting, dance etc. We are always interested in new acitvities and in need of leaders.
Residents at Red Top Meadows are always interested in speakers or leaders for a new activity. Previous speakers have talked about mountain climbing around the world, avalanches, wolves, local history, to name a few. If you are interested, they are interested. Volunteers have lead cooking and art projects, written hip-hop lyrics, poetry, photography and acting.

Volunteers will work with employed staff and are not to be alone with children unless they have gone through all screenings required of employees. Attitude of working with children should fit with program philosophy particularly at Red Top.
Volunteers at Kids Club usual involve six weeks of commitment. Red Top is usually more limited to one to four visits.
