Casa Central transforms lives and strengthens communities, with a special focus on Hispanics. Our network of social services propels a diverse population of all ages toward self-sufficiency and a higher quality of life.
Description:
The Casa Central network of 23 bilingual/bicultural social service programs target children, youth, families and the elderly and operates from 9 facilities in Humboldt Park and Logan Square. The goal of Casa Central's work is to assist individuals in addressing the root causes of problems so that they are equipped to take control of their lives and maintain a nurturing environment for their families.
History:
Casa Central was established in 1954 and is the largest Hispanic social service agency in the Midwest. Through 23 social service programs, we are able to serve about 20,000 people a year.
