Alexian Center for Mental Health

Community mental health center servicing the mental health needs of residents in the northwest suburbs of Chicago.

Description:
Provides comprehensive community services to the severely and chronically mentally ill. Services currently available are medication management, outpatient therapy for children, adolescents and adults, skills training day program, residential and vocational services, linkage to community resources. Volunteer opportunities available. Fees are based on a sliding fee scale if residents are located in Wheeling or Palatine Townships. We accept Medicaid, Medicare, Kidcare and private insurance payments.

History:
Originally the Northwest Mental Health Center that was taken over by the Alexian Health System. In December of 2004, the name was changed to Alexian Center for Mental Health and our location was changed to 3350 Salt Creek Lane in Arlington Heights. Alexian Center for Mental Health has been providing services to residents in the community for over 40 years.
