Volunteers are needed to help youth lay the foundation for academic success. Youth are Children's Home + Aid clients in programs including foster care, residential treatment and community schools after-school program. Tutors are needed at various agency locations throughout Chicago. Tutor hours vary by site and program. Volunteers are needed at the following locations:

- Mays Academy, 838 W. Marquette Rd., Chicago, IL 60621
- Earle Elementary, 6121 S. Hermitage, Chicago, IL 60636
- Cameron Elementary, 1234 N. Monticello Ave., Chicago, IL 60651
- Fulton Elementary, 5300 S Hermitage Ave., Chicago, IL 60609
- Howe Elementary, 720 N. Lorel Ave., Chicago, IL 60644
- Lowell Elementary, 3320 West Hirsch, Chicago, IL 60651
- Copernicus Elementary, 6010 South Throop, Chicago, IL 60636
- Ray Elementary, 5631 S Kimbark Ave., Chicago, IL 60637
- Salmon P. Chase Elementary, 2021 North Point, Chicago, IL 60647
- To ensure the safety of our volunteers, clients and staff all regularly scheduled volunteers must participate in a screening process including a fingerprinting background check and updated TB test/ health screen.
