You can make a big difference in the lives of adults with disabilities by giving just one hour per week! In the Anixter Center Computer Literacy Program, you can help adults with disabilities meet their personal educational goals in computers. Our volunteers assist our adult students in one to one tutoring sessions or help support our staff in a classroom setting. As a volunteer you will help people with disabilities in building their knowledge and skills in computers, which will then improve their quality of life and independence. This is a great opportunity to give back to your community and get involved with a fun and interesting group of volunteers.
All training is provided. We ask tutors to volunteer at least one hour a week. Available hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9:30am-4:00pm and Thursday 11:30am - 7:30pm. No experience need, all training is provided.
