Domestic Violence Training

Life Span is conducting a 40-hour Domestic Violence Training.  Classes will be held Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday evenings and Saturdays beginning April 18th through May 9th.

Some of the topics covered in the training include:

  • Dynamics of Domestic Abuse
  • Effects of Abuse on Children
  • Teen Dating Violence
  • Cultural Competency

Who Should Attend the Training?

  • Anyone interested in becoming a Life Span Crisis Hotline volunteer.*
  • Anyone interested in the 40-hour Domestic Violence education.**

This training is required to assist victims of domestic violence.

* There is a fee for those who are interested only in the training and not in becoming a Life Span volunteer

**Volunteers MUST BE over the age of 18, female, and have a home or cellular phone.
