To preserve, conserve and educate the public on the history of the Morgan Horse.
Description:
The NMMH mounts permanent Morgan Horse exhibits in Shelburne, Vermont, and traveling exhibits in our outreach program; provides research materials related to the history of the Morgan Horse in the development of the United States to schools, colleges and libraries; conducts research for authors, school students, and for publication. Our free handouts on the history of the Morgan Horse encourages the public to learn more. The NMMH is a unique small museum that acquires and preserves the history of the Morgan and the Morgan Horse community.
