The mission of the Dorothy Alling Memorial Library is to encourage a literate and informed public and to serve as a community resource center for people of all ages in Williston, where access is provided to current information, technology, leisure reading and programs for life-long learning.
Description:
The Dorothy Alling Memorial Library of Williston is a municipally owned free public library. Our collection includes nearly 35,000 books, videos, audio books and magazine titles. Nearly 100,000 items are loaned to our 5,585 patrons annually. The library offers a wide range of programs for children and adults, book mobile service during the summer and delivering of materials to senior developments and the homebound. Members of the public may use library computers to access the internet, word processing programs and databases or use our free wi-fi connection for their own laptops.
