Habitat For Humanity works in partnership with people in Franklin & Grand Isle Counties, from all walks of life. We develop communities with people in need by building & renovating houses in decent communities, in which every person can experience God's love & can live and grow into all that he intends.

Description:
HFH is a world wide organization started here in FGI counties in 2003. We are a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry, working in partnership with people in need of housing. We built our first home in Swanton in 2004 with the help of hundreds of volunteers. So far we have raised enough money to pay off that home in full, and are looking @ property again in Swanton to build our next house. A N Deringer has donated a warehouse to us @ the Swanton-Highgate airport, which does have some revenue. We will have the opportunity to sell this property in another year or so.
