To help seniors and persons with disabilities continue to live independently at home by matching them with people looking for affordable housing or caregiving opportunities.

Description:
Our HomeSharing Program matches elders or persons with disabilities with homesharers, someone who provides an average of ten hours a week of service in exchange for a place to live. Each homesharing match is unique and matches are custom made, and to be successful, the needs of both parties must be met. We do extensive screening including references, criminal background checks and abuse registry checks. Since the program was founded in 1982 we have made thousands of successful intergenerational matches.

Our office is located just off Shelburne Road, across from Shaw's supermarket on Farrell Street. We are in the same building as United Way and the volunteer center.
