To provide a home away from home for people with terminal illness--a place where they can live the remainder of their days in peace, surrounded by the love of family and friends and the expertise of skilled VNA caregivers.

Description:
We are a 13-bed resident hospice home surrounded by lovely gardens and outdoor living spaces. The people who come to live at Vermont Respite House have a diagnosis of six months or less. We support residents and their loved ones by helping them find peace during their final months and weeks. Volunteers help by preparing and serving meals, answering phones, and helping with light housekeeping. Many of our volunteers have been with us for years!
