Kids On The Block-Vermont
To educate kids through the magic of puppets! KOBVT is dedicated to teaching children in Vermont how to keep themselves safe and healthy and to appreciate each other's physical and cultural differences. Using life-sized puppets, this educational program seeks to create a community that helps children realize their full potential.
Description:
KOBVT travels statewide performing primarily in grades K-8, addressing 22 different topic areas covering; Children's Mental Health, Social and Safety Issues, Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug Prevention, Healthy Bodies, AIDS/HIV, and Celebrating Individual Differences. Workshops are also presented to upper elementary and middle school grades.
