Position title: Seeking Dedicated Board Members
Description: Two of the guideposts for happy longevity are having good people in our lives and learning to play and create after retirement. This, along with attention to physical and emotional well-being through nutrition, exercise and the arts sets the foundation of the Champlain Senior Center approach. We serve as a model for multipurpose senior centers across the State and enjoy creating innovative programs for seniors from all over Chittenden County including Winooski, Charlotte, South Burlington, Burlington, and Colchester.

Our vital center is seeking board members who are educated and interested in seniors and the issues associated with running this vital center. We need a combination of visionary and hands-on leadership that will allow us to continue our ascent as partners in both the Old North End and greater Burlington community.

There is an excellent growth board that will guide this new leadership as long as is necessary, but it is time to turn the reigns over to longer term members. We are coming from a place of strength with an active and involved constituency.

Seeking: President, Vice President, Secretary and general members for fundraising, PR, employee relations, programming and other general board functions

Curious? Contact Holly Sullivan, Executive Director. The center is an amazing place and is located at 241 North Street, Burlington VT 05401. Do come and see us!
