| Description: |

We are seeking an adult with connections to the Essex, Essex Junction, and/or Westford communities (either through residence or work) to serve as the adult Treasurer for our Board. This person would preferably have professional financial experience, with non-profit financial experience a plus. Duties include:
- Oversee management of the finances of the organization as approved and reviewed by the Board and managed by the Executive Director and Bookkeeper
- Serve as a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors
- With the Executive Director and Bookkeeper, administer fiscal matters of Essex CHIPS
- Work with the Executive Director and staff to create and present an annual budget to the Board of Directors for approval (This budget will be primarily developed by the Executive Director and staff.)
- Ensure development and Board review of financial policies and procedures
- Ensures financial policies and procedures are adhered to by the Board and staff

| Day, Time, & Place of Board Meetings:: |

Full Board Meetings: 3rd Wednesday of the month, 6:30 PM at the Essex Teen Center (5 Corners, Essex Junction) Executive Board Meetings: Week Prior to Full Board meeting at Essex Teen Center. Day, Time TBD.
