Position title: Board of Directors
Description: Seeking individuals who are passionate about Girl Leadership Development with strategic planning and fund development skills. Board members represent girls from throughout New Hampshire and Vermont, bringing together a wide range of skills and perspectives.
Day, Time, & Place of Board Meetings:: Meetings are currently held on the 4th Thursday of every other month at 3:00 p.m. in Thetford, Vermont.
Minimum Position Requirements (e.g. serve on sub-committee, attend events): Board members are expected to participate in at least one subcommittee as well as to provide financial support to the Girl Scouts. Board members are encouraged to attend membership events when available.
What screening procedures are required?: Application, Interview (phone or in-person), Background Check (VCIC, DAD, SRS, FBI)
Additional screening procedures required: The Board Development Committee reviews applications, interviews candidates and provides orientation for members. All Board Members are required to complete a Criminal Background Check.
