The Winooski city municipal building which houses the police department and city hall is located on the corner of West Allen Street and Weaver Street. Easiest access to the municipal parking lot is off Weaver Street adjacent to the building. From Burlington or Essex, enter the traffic circle and exit heading north up the hill toward Colchester, after exiting the circle take your first available left and travel one block to Weaver Street. Take the next left at the stop sign and travel south toward the bottom of the hill and the junction of Weaver and West Allen. The parking lot will be on your left. From Colchester, turn right onto Tigan Street across from the Winooski Educational Center. Turn left at the next stop sign onto Weaver Street. Follow Weaver Street down the hill to the corner of Weaver and West Allen. The municipal building and parking lot will be on your left. An out of service police cruiser generally helps you identify the parking lot.
