The Family Room is looking for a motivated individual to become part of our team by assuming some of the office duties. We are looking for someone to work in the Family Room 2 days a week to take care of some of the logistical issues associated with running the Family Room. Duties may include: maintaining office and closet organization; relaying messages to the staff by updating the bulletin board located in the office; and answering the phones. There is room for growth and development. As the individual becomes more integrated into the dynamics of the Family Room, he or she is encouraged to take on a more active role in administrative support. Skills needed: Familiarity with computers (Microsoft Word, Excel, internet savvy) Good organizational skills Good phone skills Self-motivated and able to prioritize Time commitment: We are looking for a minimum commitment of 4 hours per week. Ideally, the individual could work one Monday, Wednesday or Friday and then either a Tuesday or a Thursday. Working two days a week would allow the individual to become familiar with both our Family Play program and our Preschool program.
