Help COTS raise funds to support shelter and services for homeless families and individuals by volunteering one or more nights during our annual winter phonathon. The 8-night event runs Monday through Thursday evenings, Nov. 30th through Dec. 10th, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. We need roughly 30 volunteers a night to staff 23 phone lines, run paper and refreshments to folks mailing the pledge forms, and otherwise provide general mayhem and merriment. As in years past, we promise plenty of thrills and chills -- pizza! M&Ms! Door Prizes! And of course lots of NICE PEOPLE! We'll meet in the COTS Daystation for food and a quick training at 5:30 p.m., then start calling COTS donors around 6. The evening begins with a brief training (and food!) This opportunity is sponsored by: Committee on Temporary Shelter (COTS)
We need volunteers who are free at these times
