Get into the spooky spirit this fall by helping out at The Haunted Forest - Vermont's largest and longest-running Halloween event! Join us for our set up days – Oct. 3rd and 10th – to help build the magic with set construction, painting, lights, props, and more. Come anytime between 10am and 4pm for as much time as you can give! Please bring your own building tools if you have them. We also need over 1,000 jack-o-lanterns to line the trails of the Catamount Outdoor Family Center and only two days – October 17th and 25th – to carve them all! All carved pumpkins will be a part of the show and will be seen by over 7,000 guests as they traverse the spooky trails. There’s always a fun contest, free food, and entertainment provided by live broadcast from Star 92.9! Please bring your own carving tools. Groups of volunteers can arrange alternate dates to come set-up or carve.
Volunteers must be able to handle carving tools safely. This is not a good activity for very small children. Pumpkins can be carved comfortably in our large waiting tent, safe from rain, etc. This opportunity is sponsored by: The Haunted Forest
