Volunteer Cooks for Holiday Meals at Winooski Dismas House Holidays Court Community Service
Powered by Truist

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Last updated on November 9, 2009

We are looking for individuals or families who would like to cook a portion of Christmas Dinner and join us for the meal.

This is a great opportunity for individuals who don't have plans for the holidays or small families who want to share a meal with an appreciative group.

We start each meal at Dismas House by giving the cooks a round of applause and then residents often give thanks for family, volunteers, good food and opportunities. Then, at last we enjoy the meal.

There is no training required, just the willingness to cook and share a meal with residents.
