Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on September 10, 2009 |
We have all sorts of volunteer opportunities at our downtown office--before, during, and after the event: Help us sell buttons & tickets at the front desk, take phone orders, process button/ticket orders for mailing, answer phones, sign up volunteers, make button & brochure deliveries, run errands, and much, much more. We especially need lots of helpers when it gets crazy during December and the day of First Night. If you volunteer in our downtown office, you truly participate in the very heart of First Night. Volunteer as long as you would like to stay with us! You can start as soon as late October/early November. We definitely need you during December when things really heat up! Some computer knowledge is a plus but not required. If you do at least 3 hours of work, you'll get a FREE FIRST NIGHT BUTTON!
We are hoping to get some regular volunteers into the office early so that they are well-trained by mid-December when phone calls and button sales really start to pop! Even if you can volunteer only a few hours a week on a regular basis, it will be extraordinarily helpful. But one-time volunteers are great too! This opportunity is sponsored by: First Night Burlington, Inc.
We need volunteers who are free at these times
