Volunteer Opportunity Details:

We are looking for volunteers to help hand out Turkeys during the Thanksgiving holidays. Our clients will be picking up their turkeys from 3:00PM-6:00PM November 19-Thurs., 20-Fri., 23-Mon., 24-Tues. Volunteers will help families with their turkeys by checking their names as they arrive, collecting and carrying the turkeys from one area to another and by keeping the rooms neat and clean. We need 80 volunteers (20 per shift) to help us with this special Thanksgiving event. Over 2000 Turkeys will be distributed in a 4-day period to food insecure families and individuals.

We at the Food Shelf have a Thanksgiving dream that every family be given a turkey to enjoy at their Thanksgiving celebration. Join us in making this dream come true, together.

Training will be provided on site.
