Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on July 15, 2009 |
Every second Saturday of the month, Fletcher Free Library Teen Services holds an exciting video-gaming tournament for teens from 1pm-4pm. We need volunteers who are familiar with most game platforms to oversee the tournament, encourage fun and friendly gaming, and help with any technical issues that arise. Usually, these tournaments attract about a dozen middle-to-high school students who enjoy games such as Guitar Hero, Rock Band, Super Smash Bros, and DDR. We would like the volunteers show up a half hour before the tournament to help with set-up. If the volunteer is over 18, they need to have a background check done (we'll provide the forms). We would like the volunteer to make at least a four-month commitment to coming in for the tournament once a month. The only other requirement is that the volunteer enjoys working with energetic, fun teens and has some experience with video games! This opportunity is sponsored by: Fletcher Free Library
