Prescription Drug Diversion has become a huge issue in Vermont and across our country. Through a partnership with the Attorney General's Office, Vermont SMP is offering training to volunteers who want to share information with their peers to prevent drug theft and diversion. The presentation is When Healing Hands Harm. Volunteers interested in this project will need to attend a training with the Attorney General Medicaid Fraud and Residential Abuse Unit and a separate orientation with the Vermont SMP. In addition, volunteers must have their own transportation and be willing to provide five presentations yearly. This opportunity is sponsored by: Community of Vermont Elders (COVE)
