CK UVM is seeking volunteers to help serve our weekly meals at the Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf. Every Sunday morning, we prepare and serve meals to members of the Burlington community. Volunteers meet at the Food Shelf at 9:00 am and finish with clean-up around 12:30. Our serving time is from 10:00 - 12:00. Almost all of our food is donated from University Dining Services at UVM and St. Michael's College, the Intervale's Healthy City Program and from Black River Produce. CK UVM welcomes both individuals and groups of volunteers! Minors under age 13 need to be accompanied by a guardian, and youth under 18 need a signed permission slip. Community members of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to volunteer! This opportunity is sponsored by: The Campus Kitchen At UVM
