Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on July 28, 2009 |
There are 10 2nd and 3rd grade Girls in South Burlington who really want to be Girl Scouts this year, but don't have adults to lead their troop. You don't need any prior Girl Scout experience to be a leader - we provide all of the training you need to get going. Programming is organized into a curriculum, which makes it really easy to deliver. You decide the meeting schedule - once a week, twice a month or once a month, afternoons or evenings. If you enjoy working with kids and feel that you have a lot to share with them, then this is the position for you! Potential troop leaders must first fill out an application and background check. We provide training prior to starting the troop. There is also ongoing support and additional trainings throughout the year. This opportunity is sponsored by: Girl Scouts Of The Green And White Mountains
