Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Last updated on July 28, 2009

HowardCenter offers a range of services to improve the well-being of children, adults, families and communities. Central to all the activity is the agency’s administrative building at 208 Flynn and one unique aspect of this building is its space committed to art representing diversity. We are looking for an individual who loves art and would like to mount exhibits of diversity-orientated art. We would like to display such cultural diversity on a regular basis throughout the year, but we can only do so with your help in matting, hanging and captioning each piece. All materials will be provided. If you enjoy having a flexible schedule and working with art, here is your perfect opportunity.

Benefits of the opportunity:
Make a difference by sharing your expertise, and in doing so, help to both brighten the day and spread knowledge of other cultures to all staff, clients and community members who pass by the exhibit.

Volunteer should have a passion for art and experience mounting exhibits.
