Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on October 15, 2009 |
If you enjoy hard labor such as mucking stalls, tossing hay, mending fences or feeding horses CHAMP needs you. We also need volunteers to sidewalk beside the horse and riders for their safety. This is such a rewarding position for volunteers. For many with disabilities this may be the first time that can sit on a horse and have the movement of walking. We give some children the opportunity to a sport for the only time in their lives. Others are just so happy to ride they have tears of joy. We will have a training session on Sept. 10 at 6pm at Champ at Good Hope Farm. This is not mandatory but very helpful. You must be 14 years of age. This opportunity is sponsored by: CHAMP - Champlain Adaptive Mounted Program
We need volunteers who are free at these times
