Instructor for Class on Driving While Intoxicated

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

A volunteer is needed to co-teach a class for offenders who have been convicted of a first or second offense of DUI (driving under the influence). The course includes a presentation by a panel of victims of DUI. The course takes place over 2 sessions and is taught once a month. A lesson plan is provided although there may be an opportunity to update it. The groups range from 10-20 offenders. An interview,an application with references and a basic background check is required.

The volunteer will first observe the course being taught and will then assist the instructor, and begin to co-instruct.
