THIS OPPORTUNITY IS RESERVED FOR PEOPLE AGE 55 AND OVER. If you are age 55 or over and want to make a difference in the lives of children, RSVP School Buddies is for you! School Buddy volunteers work with elementary school age children who have been identified by teachers as not meeting the current academic standards. Volunteers are asked to serve 1-2 hours per day, 1-2 times per week for an entire school year. They serve at the school site and are supervised by a classroom teacher. Volunteers may assist children with reading, math, spelling or other academic areas.
