Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Make a difference in your community by joining with other volunteers who meet with non-violent offenders and victims to negotiate an agreement that will ensure the offender understands the impact of his or her crime and to ensure the person make amends to the victim and the community. Volunteers need to be able to: have reasonably good communication skills, and be able to work as part of a team. Hours vary from 2 to about 6 hours per month. Boards meet at a variety of times, and places; most start at about 5:00 PM during the week(Mon-Thurs). Interview, application and background check required of all volunteers.
