Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Volunteers will work in the warehouse sorting food, packing CSFP boxes, or in the Community Kitchen repacking frozen meat, packaging prepared foods or doing food preparation. The Foodbank is located in Barre and distributes food throughout Vermont. All activities are well-supervised. Volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes (no sandals). Jan. 12, Feb. 2 & 16, March 15 & 29, April 12 & 26, May 10 & 24, June 7 & 21, July 26, Aug. 23, Sept. 13 & 27, Oct. 11 & 25, Nov. 1 & 8 & 22 and Dec. 6 & 13, from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Call to schedule at least one week in advance.

All volunteers must be at least 14 years of age. Adult supervision must be provided for ages 14 and 15.
