Overnight Relief Managers

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Weekend/ Holiday Overnight Relief Managers will provide caring support to guest families, take guest referrals, perform guest registration tasks, answer the telephone, act as a resource person, sleep on-site and manage the day-to-day operation of the house during their volunteer shift. Relief managers serve either from Friday at 9:00 PM to Saturday at 6:00 PM, or from Saturday at 6:00 PM to Sunday at noon, and are asked to cover a shift 3-4 times a year.

Overnight Relief Managers must have good listening skills, and offer kind and compassionate support to guest families. Volunteers are expected to gain experience as In-House Staff Volunteers prior to filling weekend/overnight shifts. (See listing for In-House Staff Volunteer)
