Shelburne Museum needs volunteer help in our many gardens. Join the Museum gardener and other volunteers to help with regular maintenance of our annual and perennial gardens, planting, weeding, watering and pruning. Appropriate for both beginning and seasoned gardeners: volunteers will be outside on the Museum's beautiful grounds and will have the opportunity to learn new garden skills. Volunteers are needed from May through early November, flexible mornings and afternoons, 7 days a week (though weekdays are preferred). Tools and gloves are provided. Volunteers should be able and motivated to work outside. It is helpful, but not necessary, to be able to kneel. Garden staff will train volunteers in proper gardening techniques. This opportunity is sponsored by: Shelburne Museum
