Christmas Kettles is a familiar program of The Salvation Army for over 100 years. Groups, businesses, companies, churches, families and individuals volunteer to stand at a familiar Salvation Army Kettle, ringing the bell, greeting people as they shop and welcoming them to donate to The Salvation Army kettle effort. Funds raised through the kettle program support the various programs of The Salvation Army in the Greater Burlington area. The Friendly Kitchen which serves 100 meals/night-six days a week; our family and emergency services programs; the Family Christmas program serving over 600 families with food, toys and clothing, all benefit from the funds raised at the Christmas Kettles. Days and Times are Monday-Saturday, 10AM-6PM starting Monday, November 9, 2008(excluding Sundays) Call soon! Dates and Locations fill up fast!!
Volunteers can be made up of a group, family, or individuals willing to give a minimum of four hours at a kettle. Parents with children can also volunteer.  This opportunity is sponsored by: Salvation Army, Greater Burlington Area
